Now is the Time to Learn


Acupuncture Scholar is a continuing education platform striving to provide high quality, doctoral level continuing education internationally. Courses are suitable for an array of medical professionals including Asian body workers, chiropractors, physical therapists and nurses. Most, if not then all, courses are NCCAOM (National Commission of Chinese Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) approved for PDA (Professional Development Activity) credit.


The days of “pass now learn later” have passed with graduation. Courses offered at Acupuncture Scholar are are intended to address unanswered questions as a student, further develop topics from the classroom and introduce entirely new topics. Now is the time for clinicians to invest in themselves, their clinics and their patients. Later is now, and now is the time to learn.

Goals

  • Offer high quality continuing education (based on evidence and research where possible).
  • Assist clinicians improve their writing and teaching skills.
  • Provide information to assist clinicians interested in developing presentable research in their clinics.

About the Logo


The logo features the cute, tiny vociferous wren sitting upon a scroll singing. It was selected because the Irish folklore story “The Eagle and the Wren”. In the story, the cunning wren outsmarts the larger birds in a contest to win the title “king of birds”. According to other traditions the wren is considered a messenger of the heavens. The Acupuncture Scholar logo is symbolic of a joyous, adaptive, messenger sharing knowledge with those who want to listen.
