The ethical dilemma “To Plateau and Profit or Release and Replace” is a uniquely original dilemma and course developed by Lawrence Howard DAc to explore clinical ethics. The course is an attempt to assist clinicians navigate between immoral and illegal. This is the realm where common business practices may conflict with written rules; where what one considers “wrong” is legal and what is illegal is ignored. It reveals various scenarios which give rise to he question “To Plateau and Profit or Release and Replace”. The goal is to explore and preserve the ethical integrity of the clinician and repel “burnout”.

It details various common ethical dilemmas, the nature of the conflicts and methods to systematically resolve them to the least unsatisfactory conclusion.
